hazrat  ali  was  once  questioned  by  a  disciple,  if  destiny was  already  written, why  must  they  pray,

the  hazrat  smiled  and  replied-----perhaps  because  in the  destiny  it  was  writ you  will get  what  you  want  only when  you have  prayed
