.... it was nearly ten at night,  the room was dimly  lit , there was a medium sized mirror  fixed on the wall,  a foot away from the  from the mirror sat Catherine comfortably in a sofa,  she was staring at tge mirror fir the past half hour,  suddenly  ger reflection in the mirror began   vibrating  , gradually  it disappeared completely,  leaving the mirror  absolutely clear,  , the color of the mirror  started to change to white,  the whole mirror  turned to stark white of a  shroud,  she was still staring  at the mirror  , few moments passed and  the sides of the mirror  turned  black like an overcast sky the mirror was now completely  covered with  darkness,  there was no sign of change  showing in her condition,  her gaze still  fixed on the mirror,  the darkness  began to shrink  to the size of a ball before vanishing 

Catherine's etes brightened up , she was  inaudibly mumbling something  the mirror responded  with some  kind of activity to produce  images  finally to reveal a reflection of an old man,    the image in the beginning wasn't clear but some time later it was visible  with clarity and  great  detail,  his lips moved to utter softly   ,  congratulations dear daughter  on your success
