....Uzbek master ali was sixty year old man, who looked  seventy,  , last year he had suffered two setbacks, first was ge was kept away from the championship  by hasin salar,  second was a few months later when hdear wife succumbed to cancer,  , the latter   made him lose  his  interest 8n chess, nobody knew he would participate in the British tournament, ali was present in the tournament hall,, all his hair had  turned  gray, his hands  had  a tremor,  meeting the older man salar  became extremely  emotional,  thinking how much in a year he had changed,, last year  how he had lost  winning  the championship  for the second time
