The protagonist is a robber who gets to steal all wealth from the assasinated lebanese diplomat in his country, he is surprised at the bulk and size of wealth, also why she had kept so much stuffed in her rooms , furniture, everywhere spilling out , why she was not given any security, he catches taji the killer, but he is not ready to turn her in to poilce for she would within an hour be released , he tells rashki and najmah , each one is somehow connected to washkah, why washkah's close associates were not intterogated and followed , he is calculating to take new steps to find out the reason she was killed
