The Narrow Minded Neighbourhood

husnah   -an intelligent  and  educated  young  woman   feels  her  relatives, neighbours, veterans, elders  and  the  entire  set  up  is answerable  to  her, when she  comes  home  late    she  has  to  pass  first  a  christian   lady  -proprietor  of  a  STD  booth  , universal  auntie    of  the  whole  locality  curious    she  must  be  told  why  she  was  late
second  a  hindu  family  , all  of  the  joint  family  of  three  generations  at  least  consisting  of  more  than ten   members  lounged  on the  street  on their  charpoys, chairs  and  folding  beds  watching  the  comings  and  goings  of  others
third sadar  family  whom she  thought  looked  always   so  pale  , noone  ever   took up  a  job  how  they  managed  their  home  affairs  was  a  puzzle  to  husnah
fourth  a  muslim woman  whom she  called  Inspector     for  her  remarkable  observational  prowess  all  were  so  narrow  minded  husnah  wanted  to  be  free  of  all  social  ties
