the  letter  abra  thought  arrived  from some  foreign land,  mother  asked  her  to  keep  it  for  arif  to  read, arif  reached  home  panting  sweating, a  street  dog  had  found  him aimless   , gave  him a  chase  of his  life  , escorted  him to  the  door  step, all  laughed  as sabra  handed  him the  letter, abra  a  glass of  water,   it  was  from a  family  friend  akram ahmed  from London coming  to  stay with them till they  found  a  suitable  house  to  move  in to  the  surprised  and  horrified  girls the  news  struck  them  like  a  bolt  from the  blue
