the detective saw the blackmailer stopping to check his surroundings, assured he went into the cabin to see Williams waiting for him, they talked, then an envelope was pushed down from under the table , the blackmailer slightly opening it confirmed something , he slid a fat envelope on the table, opening which Williams saw the letters , but they were not all of them the rest were to be stolen from him by the detective
