-qasba  qila  didar  singh was  going  through a  phase  of   robberies   when the  investigator  was  posted  there, khuda  baksh  explained  of  only  he  knew  this  could  happen to  his  son he  would  never  have  asked  his  son to  sleep  in the  cow  shed  adjoining  to  their  cottage  in the  village, but  how  did  he learn his  son was  killed, at  fajar  but  why  so  early, what  was  he  doing  so  early  that  day  going  to  the  cow  shed, khuda  baksh  clarified  it  was  the  local  qazi  at  fajar  crossing  past  who  happened  to  see  a  short  dwarf  running  away  disappearing  into  the  fields  further  to  the  cow  shed  , looking  completely  different from lai  in appearance  he  doubted  the  intentions  of  the  stranger  whom he  called  out  but  he  just  ran  away, coming  to  khuda  baksh the  qazi  informed  him to  go  find  out  if  all was  well, the  robbers  perhaps  had been active  there, as  he  left  for  the  mosque  to  give  azan and  khuda  baksh  to  the  cow  shed
