In that scene present were we both
Sitting by a river
You with your hands in cold water
Splashing on me
Me covering my face with my hands
Annoyed glared at you
You roared with merry laughter
Seeing you laughing thus
I too infected with laughter
What a comeraderie in mutual trust
Then my eyes flew open
I don't know when
Pleasant dream was shattered
Grip on the hand slipped too
That river side and cold water
All was inside a dream
Water was there but in eyes
To put out the flames of life
