Target in august concludes happily with Julie getting Dilawar as a life partner, who gets his mother who in turn decides to live with her husband for the remaining days of their life, so with that good mood the novel ends upadivising the reader life is too short and unpredictable, never waste it in useless things, life is the target one should focus on.
