Story by Shamrah Bukhari - Gul Rana at just seventeen finds her loving caring father died suddenly in a road accident , she along with her mother and other brother and sister have to move out of the rented accomodation they no longer can afford, her step elder uncle who has a son from first wife is doing quite successfully in life, through his second marriage uncle has no offspring, Gul rana is grateful to have an annexe next to her uncle"s huge house, aunt is also kindly and caring, she still has to meet Adil who is out off station in Quetta on business trip, meantime she also visits her mother"s sister locally whose husband has instant dislike for poor and orphaned relatives who might prove burdensome to him
