One fine day four men approach malik safdar- the- police -in -charge , there had been a highway robbery , all expensive belongings, jewellery, cash had been taken away , the bride"s dowry was gone, it was traditionally a typical wedding that was arranged , dowry was given, the bride was given away, function was over, because of robbers the rukhsati was fixed during the day so that the groom could reach home before dark, the police men were unable to find the robbers, so a special trained man --a khoji --was appointed to trail the highway robbers, as it is said kill the producer and not the robber , the narrator shares his job experience with the readers
