the  fifth  abbassi  khalifa  harun alreshid  had  developed  kerkh  outside  beghdad  as  a  trade  hub  to  keep the  township  away  from overcrowding , but  soon enough the  trade  center  was  enveloped  from all  sides  by  the  town
