the  narrator  watches  the  orchestrated  crowd  gathering  at the weekend  thursday  prayers  cirling the  shrine, it  was  impossible  to  hear  his  own voice, the  whole  town, the  entire  world  had  seemingly  tightened  up  in that  vicinity , he  waited  for  his  uncle  , he  appeared  somewhere  from the  crowd, the  narrator  shouted  to  draw  his  uncle"s  attention but  the  uncle  could  not  have  heard  any  one"s  voice in the  noisy   spot, he  climbed  up  a  platform , someone  from behind  the  tree  emerged  and  with a  silent  sharp  cut  the  knife   made  a  clean  cut  at  the  neck of  the  uncle  and  he  fell on the  spot    in a  minute  he  was  cold  and  dead, the  narrator  was  stunned
