jack  narrates he  and  bob were  together  in germany  during the  war, later  bob   joined new  york police  force, jack  becomes  a  reporter  in washington,   some  years  later  passing  by  a  stall jack  sees  news  headlines of  bob   who  was accused  of shooting    down his  wife  with his  service  pistol and  drowning his  three  kids   aged  nine, seven and  five, it  was  unbelievable he  thought  for  four  years  ago  he  had  met  him and  his  family  they  were   so  happy  and  bob  adored  them
