grand mother sherwat jehan beghum was the empress of her kingdom , her domain included her titanic mansion, her gigantic control over her five sons and their families, , a huge central yard , five apartments for her five sons, each apartment comprising of two rooms , a kitchen and a bathroom, she lived in the traditionally decorated lobby attached with a suite and a smaller room, , the curtains on the doors were drawn every summer afternoon and during winter nights, the entire family gathered at night to dine together there, grand mother"s silver four poster bed was set in one corner arranged with long cyliderical cushions , with grandfather"s portrait on one wall, , holy quran placed with tasbih on a carved side table, her namaz with one corner of velvet upturned on one side of her bed, and a beautiful silver container with her favourite beetle leaves near her bed, the wooden floors were lined with silver, persian carpets ,
