reaching  paris  , nik goes  to  a fashionable  restaurant  where  the  movie team   and  actors  , were  having  snacks, mary  corner  was  with them she  was a  beautiful  woman  in her  mid  thirties, a  little  younger  to  nik, seeing  her  moving  in the  direction of  the  bar  , nik  takes  up  a  stool  next  to  her  quietly  , not  drawing  attention to  himself, then spoke  to  her  as  if  he  were  a  fan  of  american movies  , she  was  not  working in that  movie, she  was  mentioned  in the  credit  list, she  was  a  useful  experienced  hand
