one  of  the  most  famous  writers  ibn samak  asked  his  maid  if  she  liked  his  compositions  and  understood  them
she  said  they  were  nice  but  he  usually  repeated  himself  on minor  points
he  said  it  was  to  explain it  to  the  dull  audience
she  thought  out  loud  that  by  the  time  the  dull got  his  point the  intelectuals  left  the  gathering
