marinate one and half k.g meat with ginger garlic yoghurt, and spices to taste, for half an hour, meanwhile cook rice one k.g half done, fry the marinated meat in hot oil long enough on simmer till oil is separated , add tomato puree and water to mix in well, when the meat is tender add the half cooked rice in layers, before covering the lid to simmer for another ten minutes pour saffron water over the rice and meat
