-harun al rashid  one  day  was  approached  by his  son who  complained  another  young man had  abused  him , the  courtiers  and  ministers  and  other  wise  men  and  powerful men were  called  for  a  meeting  by  harun alrashid  who  asked  for  their  advise  as  to  what  punishment  should  be  given in such  case
-death penalty, prison, exile  and  many  punishments   were  suggested  , harun al  rashid  then  instructed  his  son to  give  the  accused  the  same  abuse   and forgive  and  forget   because  this  would  equalize  the  small act  of  crime  if  other  sentences  were  chosen and  imposed  they  would  not  be  correct  and  suitable  judgments  for  that  act  of  crime  , crime  and  its  punishment  must  be  equated properly  in direct  proportion, no  more  no  less  or  the  jusgment  becomes  an  act  of crime  itself
