-when his  friends  came  to  visit  him to  his  house  he  would  ask  them  numbly if  they  wanted  something  , confirming  and  making  them  say  no  to  every  question, like  this--you  do  not  want  tea  , you  would not  care  to  have  something, you  do  not  want  to  have  anything,
-very  rarely  he  would  invite  his  visiting  friends  he  would  dare  not  offer  a  cup of tea  to  some  five  star  hotel  and  order  a  rich  treat, when the  time  to  pay  the  bill arrived  again he  would  allow  the  friend  to  pay , explaining  how  much  he  was  insisting  and  what  a  stubborn  habit  his  friend  had  of  always  paying  the  bill
