.....it was the time just before  maghri, amma sent her up on the  terrace to safely  usher all the hens and  chicks  inside their  shed,  she began  catching them one by one, not an easy job to do , there were twenty three of them,  it was her favorite  passtime,  amma would release all the hens after Fajardo and asar on the terrace  and spent her time with them  guarding them or someone else  would  watch them for her, , cats were  dangerous and natural enemy,  big hawks  flew away  easily with the small  chicks   clutched  ,  she carried her books  up there and came down  with t the Maghreb azan
