Silence is acceptance

During   the era of yore the chinese courts  allowed  nomadic tribes to  inhabit their lands, though these tribes main livelihood was robbery  and   other petty crimes, every tribe owned a separste area ,  their life depended entirely on their  beasts , they rode them everywhere , consumed their milk and meat , from the dead beasts ropes from their hair were braided  for tents and  other uses, from their dead skins leather garments were made, shoes and   wraps , bones were  made into  tools and weapons , the fat of the beast was used as a body massage to give them energy 

Milk was preserved fermented  in leather bags  for later use for children  as tonic , trade was centered around the beasts and all the fights for domain and dominance  were woven around them
