An advocate finds out his wife's involvement with his co laywer, the husband is criminal defence layer narrating his story, Pikket is found one day dead , hit by a golf club that belongs to the husband, Peggy another friend layer helps the accused , one year the accused is harrassed, finally he is bitten by the germ of doubt that his own defence lawyer is the murderer, was it possible that the defence lawyer did really use his club to kill pikket , reason for the narrator to be behind bars, and his wife was actually involved with peggy who was soon getting married fourth time
