one  day  kanwal  got  a  letter  from the  brothel her  mother  had  passed  away  waiting  for  her  to  come  to  meet  her,  heera  bai  had  been a  good  mother,  to  kanwal, but  kanwal  failed  as  agood  daughter, she  failed  to  prove  herself  as  a  true  daughter, she  had  cut  off  her  ties  from heera  bai,  her  death   shook  her, she  could  not  return now, nobody  knew  her  there  , if  she  introduced  herself  as  heera  bai"s  daughter  her  life  would  change, she  had  to  attend  the  funeral, she  bought  a  burqa,  she  could  not  be  identified, she  saw  her  mother  "s  coffin  being  lifted  , people  had  waited  too long  for  kanwal
