from mud walls of houses bleed
blood boiling fountains
sigh and weep
because residents are all
selfish self centered heartless
i reside

where all faces blood clotted
identities all scattered smudged
features disappearing
because hearts are torn

where sun hides in clouds
stars bright are put off
faces smeared with dust
because people are unaware
uncaring cut off from time past
