benny  was  the  first  woman police  officer  promoted  to  the  rank of  detective  in the  department, before  this  she  was  patrol officer , she  prided  in her  job , lack of  funds   denied  her  to  work  as  a  team, she  enjoyed  working  alone, she  was  called  to  the  chief"s  office  where  lenny  the  nephew  of  the  retired  chief  sat  as  if  he  owned  the  whole  force
