-in this  side  of  the  town  lived  mostly  the  middle  class , working  and  having  small government  jobs,  daily  wagers, shopkeepers  and  self  employed  and  the  unemployed  whose  houses  showed  what  life  they  lived  and  in the  middle  of  all this  was  the  local  mosque  besides  which  stood  a  most  grand  looking  mansion  of  the  colony,  every  passer  by  was  attracted  by  the  impressive  stature of  the  mansion  because  it  outshone  the  other  cottages  of  ordinary  existence   crowded  together
