.....the  mighty mughal empire had reached  the threshold  of its journey, s  last stretch of decline, the  royalty  was a shadow of its own  original dignified image dying a slow death,  high walls of  their splendor were quickly becoming weatherbeaten ruins, narrowing  them to a squashing squeeze  as the British  empire  unfolded its  power taking over  their  lands
