.....they reached the mandi, where  natives  were arriving with home grown,   directly  pulled out from the field  vegetables,  tomatoes,  potatoes  and greens  in abundance  were being  dumped  , trucks were loaded with  mountains of vegetables,  within minutes  auction of  vegetables  and piles of  sacks  began,  abba knew someone and abba also had a small  shop in tbe mandi
