....life used to be good  now as if all is over,  , thread of conversation   started spinning between them around the topic of present situation and   happenings,  suddenly nadim  s phone  began ringing  displaying  his wife's number on the screen,  she was asking what was taking him so long  ,  and he wasn't  home  , her tone was customary  mixed with complaining,  , he was with a friend  , no worries  he will  come back,  he was familiar with her  nature   , he was irked,  

She repeated  why wasn't he answering,  shamina s  voice  was surprising,  he  irritated explained he was sitting  with a friend,   he will be back  , his voice rose, 

Shamina  was  asking why  was he silent,  she sounded  irritable,  nadim stared at the phone  perhaps it was dead,  the fall had  damaged its speakers most probably  majid suggested,   he added his thanks  , nadim  politely asked there was nothing to  thank him about
