...., he sat  in a chair opposite james looking at his face feeling scared a bit too, james face  was covered with old scars , even without these frightening scars his face was quite  frightful   evoking awe 

It was not just his face and looks that sent chills  he was the  top local bully  notorious ruffian in town , every decent citizen knew his name and was completely  scared to death  so it was not unusual for him to be scared too

His name was mikal a mexican just recently  come to america , he has been in this locality for a year now , a senior manager in a small company, , not paid well but because he had no family with him no wife no chilldren , just single  he was able to manage it  well for himself, he had shifted in thus area to save time in commuting
