they  had    not  many  local  guides  and  attendants , not  enough  food , so  they  had  to  hunt  to  eat  as  they  went  deep  into the  african jungles  to  find  the  dwarf  tribe,  white  men were  not  a  regular  sight, but  one  day  an englishman  , very  tired  they  had  not  heard  of  but  who  apparently  knew  of  them  reached  their  camping  site  with his  guide  and  servant,  all  of  them were  exhausted  , they  had  grown beards  and  hair  were  long, the  englishman  seemed  otherwise  very  civil  and  accustomed  to  good  living  and  of  clean habits
