jerry  wanted  to  go  home  and  sleep, he  was  tired,  for  so many  days  he  had  told  and  retold  and  repeated  the  story  how  he  had  witnessed a  man killing  a  customer,  but  this  Mac  was  showing  keen interest, he  even asked  leading  question  -where  was  the  killer  standing, the  position  of  the  victim, his questions  were spontaneous  and  made  jerry   get  interested  in telling  him all about  it, he  even in a  secretive  tone  told  him he  happened  to  find  a  globe  like    tissue  role  the  next  day  cleaning  up  the  mes, a  new  carpet replaced  the  previous  one, he  had  wiped  up  all the  glasses  and  kept  them   neatly  on the  rack, perhaps  erasing  the  fingerprints  of  the  killer  on his  glass, yes  he  would  recognize  him anytime  and  he  was  the  only  eye  witness who could identify him, though the  killer  does  not  know  of  it  because  there  were  others  besides him
