-last year was declared the year of green pea and lentils, both are natural source of proteins after meat for the vegetarians and not so well off who can not get meat for some reason,, though when lentils ad peas are grown in abundance they are quite cheaply available for their taste and when they are hard to find and expensive then also they retain their attributes and properties and values are not destroyed with price hike, , in this hard to find times one must not lose heart ad not buy them or give them up , but include them in less quantity in their meals for their added flavour and goodness of proteins
