--though he  was  there  and  recognized  dephni  , they had  never  met  before , he  had  only  seen her  in photographs,  if  she  had  somehow  recognized  him she   did  not  show  it   at  all, the  lady  when expressed  it  it  came  as  a  surprise  to  him, a  strange  frightening  thought  cropped  ip  in his  kind  was  dephni  also  a  part  of  that  society  gathering  there , the  lady  was  happy  to  be  there  and  hoping  to  enjoy  his  company, he  smiled  his  reply  he  was  never  interested  in psychology  and  only  time  will tell if  she   would  enjoy his  company
