About the Writer--Muhammed Rusva Mirza Hadi

As  a  sub overseer  he  was  posted  at  quetta  supervising   railway  line in 1886, his  first  urdu  magazine  -shiraq  was  launched   that  shut  down later, professor  of  arabic  and  persian he  taught  for  thirty  years  in lucknow  college, he  used  mirza  as  his  pen name-  his  five  novels    remembered  are--Umrao jaan ada,   Akhtar beghum , Sharif  zadah, Insha-e-raaz, Zaat  sharif,
He  recounts  in his  novel-umrao jaan ada  a  coutesan"s  life  story  she  shared  with him,
retaliating  umrao  jaan  wrote  a  novel--Fasan-e-  rusva   that  could  not  dim  her  own name,
the  novel  is  a  mirror  of  a  dancing  girl
