--so  that  was  the  matter, he  had  for  the  first  time  seen her  in that  condition, from morning  to  dusk  so  many  times  they  used  to  see   each  other  on different  things,  she  used  to  talk  so  much  all the  time  with him on various  topics,  going  out  together, being  together, spending  time  together  but  not  like  this  , never  in this  condition had  he  ever  seen her  before, dressed  up  for  days  in dirty  clothes  , over  worked,  like  a  widow,  in plain  hideous  colours  , her  spark  put  off, light  of  mischief  missing in eyes, smiles  evaporated, dry  and  un attractive  appearance,  tired  and  exhausted
