....when the locals in los angels saved howard he was badly injured,  his body was smashed up but he was alive, his bones crushed internally,  lungs collapsed,  posiition of his heart also a little moved out,  Howard  opened his eyes quite cheerfully  , he was happy to be alive, thankful that his brain was solid and not a scratch on it, he could still think properly
