chah ki raah mein

...mehrunissa is coming tomorrow , said  Zahir sahib  casually  as he  lay down partially on the cot ,  nahid beghum who was sitting on the stool  before her dressing table mirror  cleansing her face  stopped   there

But why is she coming she questioned her husband's  reflected image in the mirror   in a hard tone 

Why do sisters visit their brothers houses,  asked Zahir sahib in reply that was enough to make her  nervous and confused just for a minute  but she quickly recovered her composure 

How come  she remembers her brother after soo many years, her sarcasm  made him  sigh a long sigh,  attitude and  circumstances  change people he explained,  they become helpless,  self respect  stops them but who can ever forget  their  loved ones
