.....perhaps  Rais sahib was a relative of  khaliq s wife  she  overlooked introducing,  thinking over the matter he reached the  door leading to his room,  thankfully it was their family matter,  he patted himself for not showing too much surprise before the secretary,  it was strange yet he  had stayed  calm and in control  

Man is the only species in the entire universe  cunning and  unfaithful  opportunist , no other  living creature is so selfish and  over clever,  , cheating  comes naturally to human beings,  , sometimes to  make profit  he  would deceive  himself,  this was the time  khaliq doing the same,  , by not discussing his family matter with his secretary he was  trying to  convince himself all was fine  but the reality was absolutely different,  his wife was  settled deep into his mind stream, she possessed him , his thoughts and life,  he couldn't  speak up before her  , she never  allowed him  to air his views,  if rais sahib had not    name dropped  he was madam s relative  khaliq definitely would have  questioned the secretary why did she   let a total stranger  into his room,  

Khaliq entered the room  , Rais sahib  stood up,  both met each other  very warmly  before they sat down again,  casual conversation  began between them and then khaliq asked showing pleasant surprise  in his tone that the secretary had informed him he was a close relative of his wife just recently returned from abroad,  coincidentally  his wife never had mentioned Rais sahib to him 

Rais sahib  said it wasn't her fault at all because she didn't know him  at all
