-the  story  is  set  during  the  world war  1944  , an  american  firing  man  narrates  his  experience,  dropping  bombs  was  his  job, flying  over  holland  suddenly  his  aircraft  catches  fire, either  it  was  shot  down  or  an accident,  his  mission was  to complete  their  task  and  return home, 33  targets  were  destroyed  and  to  complete  the  mission two  more  were  left, the  lead fighter aircraft  dived  and  dropped  smoke  bomb, they  followed  the  dive  and  dropped  more  bombs , he  felt  faint   , his  head  was  spinning, his  colleague  helped  him to  jump  out  from the  door  meant  for  para  divers, though a  hole  as  big  as  a  jeep  was  visible  in the  floor  of  the  aircraft
