Khawar is asked to leave the house of Wali whose begum is illicitely involved with him, on his way very early in the morning he finds illegal construction of walls , being quickly taking place on his master's land, , he comes back to inform them, later he hides for protection in a godown cell and after many days remaing in the hide out he feels that his master is keeping him ther epurposely to take revenge as he has a germ of a doubt eroding his mindframe about his affair with his begum
