Submerged noisy life reached the harbour
The nocturnal delights not in illuminations loud
Now listening intently to regretful pain
Long enough I heard songs of joy
Silenced voices, lowered eyes glued below
Clearly heard are sounds of insensitivity
Those igniting got decayed
Your empty promises like dried up river flow
Behold I lay her in the tomb of silence
let the noise of crowds approach me
Aggressively sacrificial souls searches for you
Just once did I hear my hopeless heart smile conceitedly--Shayar Naqvi
