the  mother    sat  down in a  chair  , her  serene  looks, her  steady  heands , her  comforting  touch  all  gave  his  strength , she  was  his  moral  support,  she  said  her  husband  no  longer  was  hers,  but  the  boy  still  remained  hers  the  reason she   instructed  him confidently, she  had still  rightfully  a  duty  to  advise  him , but  the  father  was  not  her  possesion and  he  was  overage  to  be  commanded  or  told  right  and  wrong,  he  could  not  learn  any  more
