she  had  graduated  , but  grandmother  refused  her  to  continue   with  higher  studies  in masters, nor  was  she  given permission to  join  Bed  course, because  grandmother  thought  masters  degree  suggested  the  girl  was  over  age, and  not  soft  and  young  enough  for  marriage  , Bed degree  meant  soon teaching  job  will make  her  rough  and  hard  , strong  headed  and  before  she  was  old  she  would  look  older
