-he  was  Abdulla,  who  had  burnt  all his  boats  and  had  no  hope  of  returning  from where  he  had  come  to  a[[ear  for  the  interview, he  was desperately  in need  of  a  job , any  type  of  a  job  from a  helper, office  boy  errand  runner  to  advocate  that  he  really  was , the  woman  at  the  reception asked  him to  wait
 , he  prayed  he  would  get  the  job  or   he  had  a  no  future, he  was  called  in, the  owner  himself  was  a  lawyer, drunk  and  surroundings  unkempt, nothing  mattered  for  Abdulla  except  the  job  and  salary,   he  was  prepared  to  answer  questions  usually  are  asked  in interviews  for  jobs, but  he  was  not  asked  anything , that  he  was  appointed  , he  must  talk  the  details  with  maria  at  the  reception and  join from the  next  day  , Abdulla  came  out  nervous  as  before,  maria  was  happy  for  him because  she  could  not  have  handled  two  jobs  , the  owner  himself  was a  trained  lawyer  and  needed  no  help  from Abdulla  in cases  but  still he  had  insisted  they  must  have  someone  extra  around  , salary  and timings  were  not  fixed, Abdulla  was  unsure, maria  explained  the  timings  were  none  to  five  and  salary  will be  decided by  the  owner  ahsan shah
