-in those  days  both  roger  and  alfred  were  kept  together  in the  same  lock  up, because  both  were  great  talkers  they  kept  talking  all the  time ,  they  enjoyed  talking  and  became  friends, staying  in their  respective  beds  they  would  talk  and  talk  till one  of  them  would  doze  off , in  each  lock up  only  two  were  kept  , no  place  for  the  third  , so  they  also  had  no  other   sharing  the  lock  up  with  them
