-army men  were  being  selected   to  send  to vietnam , one  young  man  was  certain  in his  medical  check up  he  will be  rejected  for  his  poor  eye  sight, the  doctor  asked  him to  read  what  was  on the  chart, the  man said  he  saw  nothing  on the  chart, he  was  asked  to  step  forward  and  then  read again, this  exercise   was  repeated  till the  man  stood  just  two  feet  away  from the  chart, the   doctor passing  him declared  him fit  for  hand  to hand  combat  battle
