..bricks asked him to tell him all that he knew about the situation, jerry case was something bricks was dealing with, but he refused to give any information specially that could prove jerry innocent until he was paid for the information, he negotiated if he was to go through hardships in the jail why should he give bricks any information at all but if he is given relief and comfort and nice place he then can think of sharing the secret evidence
